Day 176. – Cliff // Sea
It’s an early AM. We’re heading up to the popular sea cliff bridge spot for sunrise. I’ve packed my camera, my sleepy girlfriend and a headtorch to navigate up the cliffs. Once peaked the bridge and the sun took for ever to glow, but the show came on fast and loud.

Packed all the camera gear the night before, ready to get up at stupid AM to take a sunrise photo. The only problem was fog engulfed North Bondi, blocking the sun. Seeing this, we decided to take the boards out until that fog began to thin out.

It’s not the best start to the weekend – but nevertheless, we’re going anyway. Get in because we’re heading up north for some beach 4wd and camping action. This rain shouldn’t have cleared so fast – it was supposed to be a disaster outside again. This morning we’re driving down Manly way to Curl Curl. Time to take the drone and my long lens out for a spin. Water clarity today was surprisingly good – considering the recent weather.

We’re up on what I call the left side of the island (it’s East-ish side) which has homeless everywhere living in tents, but some of the best local people and even better beaches. We’ve managed to find an Airbnb Campsite amoungst a mango farm, with a shower, toilet and wifi – all this for $17USD.…

Day 126. – Lost At Lake Jocassee

We’ve made it coastal, but it’s a bit too windy and washed out of a swim – we’ll hit the Cascades instead. Just 30mins from Burleigh Heads are these endless waterfalls with natural waterslides. Sober up, wash that hangover off. Borrow mums car because we’re going to Queen Mary Falls. It’s a 6km stretch of lush rainforest with 5 or 6 killer sized waterfalls. Good Exploring to be had along with some great scenery. You’ll love it.
