Time to head north. Load up the bike and check the clamps are tight for the rooftop tent.

With Newcastle too smokey and burnt out to stop – we’ve pitted in for breakfast just near Forsters Beach for a beach BBQ.

Keeping north we’ve stopped in at the pub near Hat Head Caravan Park, got lucky with peak season serving us up a spot right next to the beach. With a gusty night over (where I did question what would happen if the tree fell down we parked under), we made it to Brisbane!
