Day 169. – A Forgotten Sunset

Usually, afternoons are spent in the surf. I had totally forgotten how good sunsets can be. Also, North end is popping lately. Mostly locals out for a swim on the Grassy Knoll.

The evening was cut short. With a man and two friends pulled from the south end around 7.30pm. A local nurse, surfers and a few of our Surf Rescue guys had first response to the patient – the man is now currently fighting for his life in critical condition. But would be a complete goner without those first response teams jumping in so quickly. 27mins of CPR is a long time to wait until Paramedics arrived. Hope he pulls through.
