It’s never something I figured I’d miss but looking up the starry sky tonight I’ve realised it isn’t the same as Australia, and I’m not the only one here who’s noticing it. It’s like this part of the world gets extra sugar, guns and patriotism but misses out on those stellar late night milky way views (Fireflies are pretty rad though).
We must also be the eye of this 2-week long storm because we’re in the clear tonight and the stars have come out. Rain is predicted to start up again tomorrow.
