Day 118. – Hiking With Storm Alberto

Where I’m currently staying is not even close to the main subtropical storm (in North Carolina) but I’ve never witnessed such heavy and consistent rain. Still, rain won’t stop us from getting out on a good hike on the short break I have.

The Brevard area is spectacular with a habit of starting sunny and diving into torrential rain every hour. This forms those low flying clouds that you can reach out and touch. Also included here you’ll find softy lit sunrises and firefly nights that illuminate entire fields ( ..haven’t worked out how to shoot those guys in such low light conditions).
