How to tick Yosemite off the Bucket list: Book your solo flight out of Australia, meet up with two other Aussies and don’t forget to find a token New Zealander to bring along. Pile into the hire car and head 300km directly across the flat landscape national park, stopping regularly to check out the terrible fast food places on the way. Arrive so unprepared only one of you has a raincoat and warm clothing, snap a few photos and decide which peak will be the one to conquer. Sleep well the night before because we’re up early and hitting the path with unbeatable pace.
The only word I can think to use is ‘surreal’ to describe this entire trip. The views are like nothing I’ve ever seen before.
This is probably one of the largest uploads I’ve done (Second to the Vietnam trip day ..although that was the entire trip this is just two days in the National Park Valley) Enjoy!
