story time: finished up my day surfing the rescue board when I see some crazy foreigner has decided to swim to the shark nets at dusk. After paddling the 1km out to this fearless guy and hearing his justification on how he does this most nights – I turned back a whale popped up 50m away to watch the sunset w/me – making the 2km round trip totally worth it.
